HOW TO INSTALL A SLIDER

Today were going to cover the installation of a piece of hardware that is super functional but can be a little bit tricky to set the right way. We’re going to add sliders to straps, these types of sliders can be applied to any type of strap from a bra strap to a dress strap to suit vest adjusters as well as any kind of apron as you will see you this video.

The webbing we are using is 1 inch wide but the same process applies regardless of the type of material or width of material you’re using. All you’ll need is a slider with a bar in the middle and a D ring and a lengthg of strap material.

This process can also be successfully applied using only hand sewing versus using the machine, but we will be using a sewing machine just to get our stitching a bit stronger.
